Pumpkin Galette

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a medium bowl, stir flour and salt together. Cut in butterAmount1/2 cupIngredientbutter until mixture resembles small crumbles. Add water a little at a time until a workable dough forms. Divide dough in half and roll out on a floured board.

In a small bowl, whisk 1 egg with 1 teaspoon waterAmount1/4 cupIngredientwater. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix pumpkin, 1 egg, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, and sweetened condensed milkAmount1/2 cupIngredientsweetened condensed milk.

Place pie dough round on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Add pumpkin mixture to the center and fold in edges of dough.

Brush dough with egg wash, sprinkle with sanding sugar, and top with pecansAmount3 tbspIngredientchopped pecans.

Bake until golden brown and pumpkin has set, about 25–30 minutes.
