Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

Slow Cooker Apple Crisp
Nothing says “the Fall season is here” to me more than apples do, and I love using apples in desserts. While apple pie may be the most famous dessert that comes to mind, apple crisp not only shares similar flavors, but it’s also much easier to make in the slow cooker. This apple crumble is simple, delicious, and pairs perfectly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
Directions
Lightly grease or line the slow cooker with a liner. In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, sugar, apples, salt, cinnamon, and flour, tossing to coat. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter, and vanilla, then sprinkle it over the top of the apple mixture. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
Once done, let sit, partially covered, for 1 hour before serving. Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
