Pecan Sticky Buns

In a small bowl, combine chopped nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. In an 8-inch round baking pan, pour 3 tablespoons of brown sugar mixture and drizzle 3 tablespoons melted butter.
On a lightly floured work surface, roll out pizza dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar mixture evenly over dough and drizzle remaining melted butter, leaving a 1-inch border. Start from the long edge and roll dough gently. Divide into 8 even pieces and place into the baking pan, cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place pan on a baking sheet and bake until buns are golden brown, about 30-40 minutes. Run a knife around the edge of the pan and invert buns onto a serving platter.
Optional: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ½ cup butter, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and ½ cup brown sugar. Bring to a boil then pour oven buns.
