Poblano and Pepper Jack Pork Burger

The classic burger gets reimagined! Roasted poblano peppers and onions are served on a juicy pork burger and topped with a melty pepper jack cheese sauce. This delicious burger offers a mild heat that anyone will enjoy, whether you like spice or not!

Ingredients

 1 poblano pepper, sliced
 1 small onion, sliced
 8 oz (227 g) ground pork
 ½ tsp garlic powder
 ½ tsp onion powder
 ½ tsp salt
 ¼ tsp pepper
 2 brioche buns
 Oil spray
Sauce
 3 tbsp (42 g) mayo
 ½ cup (59 g) shredded pepper Jack cheese
 ¼ tsp salt
 ¼ tsp pepper
 ¼ tsp onion powder
 ¼ tsp garlic powder

Directions

Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Add the pepper and onions to the air fryer, spray with oil, and cook for 12-16 minutes, shaking halfway through.

In a small bowl, combine the ground pork, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture into two patties. Spray the air fryer with oil and add the patties. Cook for 6-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the mayo, cheese, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Divide the mixture on top of the two pork patties and cook for 2-4 minutes or until melted.

Place each patty onto a bun and top with the pepper and onion mixture. Serve immediately.
