In a medium bowl, add the apples, brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon, stirring until the apples are well coated. Pour the apple mixture into a 6-inch baking dish.
Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F (190 degrees C.) In a small bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar, flour, oats, and cinnamon until combined. Using your fingers, sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apples.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the air fryer, cooking for 32-34 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for 8-10 minutes more, until bubbling and the top is browned. Cool for 10 minutes before serving as is, or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
