In a pasta pot, take some time to saute the mushrooms and tomatoes. You’ll know it’s finished by the slightly brown coloring of the mushrooms. Another tell-tale-sign is the slight shriveling of the tomatoes.
Once the pasta and the tomatoes/ mushrooms are finished, you can move on to the next step. Combine the pasta, tomatoes/ mushrooms mix, garlic and ricotta. Take a few basil leaves and crush enough for 1 tbs. Salt and pepper the dish to your tasting. Stir this mix with a gentle hand for about two minutes. Once this step is complete your dish is ready for serving.
The distinct flavors of mushrooms and tomatoes, mixed eloquently with the fresh mild flavor of ricotta. The “peppery” flavor of basil adds a desirable taste to the dish. Add the garlic, salt and pepper and it becomes a hit. These sensational flavors combine to make a dish to satisfy.
