Caesar Vinaigrette

Two delicious dressings combine to make one powerful flavor. This is a great alternative in place of caesar dressings that contain raw eggs. This dressing has a fresh flavor provided by the vinegar and lemon zest. Plus it’s still got the deep richness of a traditional caesar dressing.

The dressing is super easy to make. In fact; everything is broken down in just one step. It takes roughly 5 minutes to make the dressing. The ingredients include two types of vinegar, lemon zest, white sugar, Italian seasoning, olive oil, garlic, anchovy paste, salt, and pepper. Plus, what would a Caesar salad be without parmesan? This ingredient is added at the end right before serving.

Mix all the ingredients together leaving out the olive oil, parmesan and garlic. Once everything is combined, gradually add the olive oil, lightly whisking it into the mix. Then you can add the garlic to your homemade dressing. When everything is ready add some parmesan to the salad and serve.

  • 2 Tbs white wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbs Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Anchovy Paste
  • 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

  1. Stir the vinegar, Dijon mustard, balsamic,  zest, sugar, Italian seasoning, Anchovy, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Gradually whisk in the olive oil to make an emulsion, or thickened vinaigrette mixture. Add the garlic. Add the Parmesan cheese just before serving.
